The word yoni describes the women's reproductive system in its entirety, rather than a singular part.
Organic herbs mixed with moist heat to create a steam bath that is known to assist with a wide variety of gynecological issues, including but not limited to fertility, menstrual, and menopause.
There are several benefits to the sacred practice of yoni steaming, varying from emotional and spiritual healing to physical cleansing. They are also known to
significantly reduce menstrual pain, bloating and exhaustion, improve and increase fertility, treat uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, uterine weakness, uterine prolapse, endometriosis and hemorrhoids, speed healing and tone the reproductive system after birth, assist with the repair of a vaginal tear, episiotomy, or C-section scar, treat chronic vaginal/yeast infections, relieve symptoms of menopause including dryness or pain during intercourse, rid the womb and body of toxins and stress.
The herbs are organic and generally hypoallergenic. All ingredients are generally safe for all skin types, yet some people may still have individual allergies to certain plant botanicals. (The same holds true for any cosmetic or food ingredient). Those with sensitivity to plants should test for reaction by placing the herbs on the back of the hand. If itchiness or discomfort occurs, do not use.

Steam between sex partners
Self care/hygiene maintenance 1-2 times monthly
PMS and menstrual cramps. 2-3 times per month before your cycle starts
Enhance fertility 1-2 times per week before ovulation

Do not yoni steam if you:
- Currently Menstruating or spotting
- Active internal or external infection or fever
- With any open wounds, sores, blisters or stitches
- Currently pregnant or a chance that you may be pregnant
- Piercings will need to be removed
- IUD, implanted birth control * need to sign a waiver as the effectiveness and security may be impacted
Your menstrual cycle may change after doing a yoni steam. Often, there is a great deal of material that is "encrusted" to the inside of your womb, which is expelled after doing the yoni steam. The herbs have a powerful effect on the uterus, dislodging much of what is stuck. Sometimes this means your flow will be very heavy, dark and thick for just a day or two, and other times it just extends the length of your period to get it all out. Ultimately, your next period will be much lighter and more pleasant than ever before.
The Basic Yoni Steam recipe & process
- In a medium covered pot, pour 6 cups of water (preferably purified water).
- Bring water to a soft boil for 5 minutes.
- Place single yoni dried herbs bag into the water. Keep herbs intact inside the bag.
- Turn off the heat, leave the lid on and steep for another 5 minutes with the lid on.
- Wave your hand 8 inches over the herbal water to make sure it is not too hot.
- Remove your underwear and sit on the seat above the steaming water.
- Dress in your yoni steam robe or drape a large blanket around your waist down to the floor making sure no steam escapes.
- Sit with the steam for 20-30 minutes.

Because the newly waxed area is more sensitive and more susceptible to invading bacteria, it's best to avoid heat, sweat, and friction after your wax. For at least 24 hours, you'll want to avoid saunas, tanning beds, and even the gym.
